FAI Report
This report details the critical Dimensions on the finished
PCB against those of the given tolerances (supplied by the
customer) and those of IPC requirements.
This includes Profile Dimensions, Board Thickness, Hole Dimensions,
Soldermask thickness and Track and Gap
The report also includes the test & Inspection information and
information relating to the manufacturing yield for the batch.
This is especially important if you are looking to improve your
PCB Design in future
MICRO-STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS REPORT
The Micro-Structural Analysis Report (also known as Micro-section report)
is the information relating to the quality of the finished PCB for areas you cannot
inspect simply by eye.
